Fees & Charges

Fees are negotiated on an individual basis within a sliding scale and a few concessionary places are available.

An initial assessment session is free of charge, (excluding psychiatry) which enables us to consider if we would be able to work together to help you without any obligation to take things further. Sessions thereafter, if you decide to commence therapy, will be once, twice or three times weekly depending on the type of therapy, and can be paid monthly by prior arrangement or per session.

Fees for multiple sessions are negotiable for clients with limited income/special circumstances. This is dependent on availability and type of therapy accessed and can be discussed at your assessment.

There are some concessionary places available for clients with limited income/special circumstances and for whom this approach to therapy is deemed/proved highly beneficial.

Fees for individual therapy are £50 - £65 per clinical hour (inclusive of all materials where art psychotherapy is the therapy modality).

Cancellatons, missed sessions and holidays
In order to maximise the impact of therapy, sessions are scheduled according to the nature of the modality and your individual needs.

Your fee secures your regular appointment. Missed appointments, cancelled sessions and holidays you elect to take during therapy are chargeable in full, apart from exceptional circumstances, or where negotiated individually in advance. If you are unable to keep your regular appointment for any reason, please contact us in advance and we will endeavour to offer you an alternative time that week, subject to availability.

Therapist holidays are obviously not charged and generally include 2 weeks at Christmas/New Year, a week at Easter and 2 weeks during the summer months. Recognised UK Bank Holidays are taken in addition to these times. Occasionally there may other one off dates when your regular therapy day/time is not possible but an alternative will always be offered. Advance notice will always be given ahead of any holidays, and time will be allocated within the therapy process to prepare clients for breaks in continuity.
