Based in Menheniot (between Liskeard and Plymouth) Phoenix Psychotherapy attracts clients from a wide geographical area throughout Cornwall and South Devon.

Therapy sessions are undertaken within a Grade II listed building, accessed through a private walled garden, which is not overlooked. There is full disabled and wheelchair access, and a bespoke therapy bathroom.

Forms of therapy we offer

Phoenix Psychotherapy offers a choice of psychotherapy designed to accommodate a range of treatment needs. Orientations currently available include: Art Psychotherapy, Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, and Jungian Analysis, as well as private Psychiatry appointments.

We provide individual psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults as well as couples therapy, and group therapy.

You do not need to know in advance which approach is right for you as you will be offered a comprehensive assessment which will enable us to guide you into the most suitable approach and therapist for your specific needs. At the assessment you will also be able to ask any questions you may have about the different models of therapy and explore with the therapist what feels right for you based on your presenting symptoms and any previous experience of therapy.

Sarah is also involved in international dream research, investigating Jungian theories about dreams and dreaming, which informs her clinical work and is contributing to the development of an evidenced based contemporary approach to the treatment of addiction.
