About Us

  • Phoenix Psychotherapy was founded, and is run by Sarah Hall, Analytical Psychologist (Jungian Analyst) and Psychoanalytic Art Psychotherapist.

Sarah is an accredited professional member of the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC), United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), the International Association of Analytical Psychologists (IAAP), and the British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT)

A range of other modalities and approaches are available at Phoenix Psychotherapy, all delivered by qualified professional therapists, and are explained in more detail under the Therapies section. We are happy and accustomed to taking a creative and flexible approach in delivery; working with individuals, children/adolescents, families, and groups.

Sarah is also undertaking a post qualifying training programme for qualified and experienced psychotherapists with the Association of Jungian Analysts in London. This specialised training enables the transition from psychotherapist to Jungian analyst. The principal aim of the programme is to build on previous training and current clinical work. Successful completion of the programme leads to membership of the Association of Jungian Analysts, and of the International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP).

A range of other modalities and approaches are offered at Phoenix Psychotherapy, all delivered by qualified professional therapists, and are explained in more detail under the Therapies section. We are happy and accustomed to taking a creative and flexible approach in delivery; working with individuals, couples, families, other groups and organisations.

  • Phoenix Psychotherapy is situated in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty on the edge of Bodmin moor.

It is located in the quiet village of Menheniot between Liskeard and Plymouth (just off the A38) and is 25 minutes drive from the A30 at Bodmin and 35 from Plymouth city centre.

Types of Therapy

Every individual is unique and distinctive approaches to psychotherapy support people in different ways. Our therapists can help you to determine the most suitable therapy for your needs and offer that support in a number of ways.

Some modalities are offered weekly, while others like Jungian analysis are more frequent (either 2 x or 3 x weekly), but your needs will be professionally assessed and discussed in detail with you, reflecting the collaborative and relational philosophy of our practice.
